ICC World Cup 2015 Final Australia vs New Zealand Match Analysis, Preview And Ways To Watch Online:
New Zealand are electrifying, but Australia are clinical at home. The visitors are unbeaten, but the hosts have big-tournament pedigree. The teams have largely kept things classy, sure, but on both sides of the Tasman, there is an edge to this final. In the New Zealand media, the Australia side has been described as "arrogant" and "self-absorbed". On talkback radio, David Warner's potty mouth has become a lightning-rod for anti-Australian sentiment. Across the ditch, a breakfast TV show presenter light-heartedly called New Zealand's Australia-based fans "the dole-bludging army". This drew predictable ire from the smaller nation. As did Matthew Hayden's suggestion that New Zealand would struggle with the size of the MCG, which spawned the satirical #MCGsobig. Martin Crowe has described the final as a battle between brothers, but at present it feels like these are siblings who have wrecked each other's cars, quarreled over inheritance, and left unflattering remarks on the intelligence of each other's children on Facebook. New Zealand are without doubt the form side of the World Cup, and like the parents' favourite child Brendon McCullum proudly said he expected the lion's share of neutral backing in the final. McCullum's manic starts have thrilled the nation all summer long, and his hyper-aggression in the field, which often sees four slips and a gully in place, has typified his team's playing manifesto. They attack when the attackin's good. They keep shoving when the opposition shoves back. And even when aggression seems the silliest approach, McCullum keeps backing his bowlers to make breakthroughs. So often in this World Cup, his men have vindicated his strategy.
New Zealand has been pushed in two of its last three games, by Bangladesh in the final league fixture and by South Africa in the semifinal. On both occasions, the side had various individuals standing up and taking it past the finish line. Its tremendous strength lies in not being dependent on any one person more than the rest, though the team has benefited massively from the early strikes that have become such a Trent Boult trademark through the competition. The one other time New Zealand has been stretched to the limit was, unsurprisingly, when Australia went visiting for a Group A contest at Eden Park. Boult was virtually unplayable, his left-arm swing ripping the heart out of the Australian batting which rolled over for 151. Australia, though, had its own answer to Boult, in the form of Mitchell Starc. With 6 for 28, Starc threatened to out-Boult Boult until Kane Williamson’s calmness carried New Zealand home, by the most miniscule of margins. Both teams will take heart from that result – New Zealand, because it blasted Australia out for a paltry total and Australia, because despite being bowled out so cheaply, it almost pulled off the game. In the larger context of Sunday’s game, that result will have little bearing. For feel-good and a dose of confidence, it’s a result of great import. New Zealand’s key to success has been the form of Boult and Tim Southee at the top of the bowling order. Between them, they have taken 36 wickets, when the ball has swung and when it hasn’t. If there is some swing on offer on Sunday, David Warner and Aaron Finch will have to watch out. Even if there isn’t, Boult and Southee bring other skills to the table. Then, there is Matt Henry, the tearaway who replaced Adam Milne in the squad and immediately fronted up for the semifinal, and Daniel Vettori, the ageless wonder who missed long stretches of international cricket after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 though there is no indication at all that he briefly swapped playing with a coaching role at Royal Challengers Bangalore.

France vs Brazil is the unofficial World Cup final... so will the French win the title just like they did in Paris in 1998?

  • The unofficial World Cup final will be between France and Brazil in Paris
  • The way the UFWC works is like conkers where winner takes all
  • Brazil have held the unofficial title since October 11, when they beat Argentina 2-0 in Beijing, China

As far as matches to determine the unofficial world champions go, it could not get any bigger than France vs Brazil in Paris on Thursday night.
The unofficial World Cup final is a repeat of the meeting at the same Stade de France venue in 1998 when France were crowned world champions by beating Brazil 3-0.
The current unofficial World Cup title holders are Brazil but France will try to pry that casual title from them, even if it is just a friendly in the French capital.

France striker Karim Benzema says Brazil are "still a great team" despite their World Cup disaster ahead of the nation's friendly in Paris on Thursday.

International Friendly
  • Venue: Stade de France, Paris
  • Date: Thursday, 26 March
  • Kick-off: Time 20:00 GMT

Brazil suffered a humiliating 7-1 semi-final defeat by Germany in the World Cup semi-final, but have begun to rebuild under new manager Dunga.
The five-time World Cup winners have since won six friendly matches, scoring 14 goals and conceding only one.
"They are a great team no matter what," said Real Madrid's Benzema.
"After the World Cup, Brazil have recovered. They have been scoring freely and have not conceded much. There is no favourite for this game."
The striker's comments were backed by national coach Didier Deschamps.
Deschamps, who lifted won the 1998 World Cup as a player, said: "They are reeling from a World Cup that was not unsuccessful despite the trauma they went through - they were still in the semi-finals.
"I have seen what they have been doing since then and I saw many many very good things."
Euro 2016 hosts France, undefeated since losing to Germany in the World Cup quarter-finals, will be looking to continue their fine run following wins against Spain, Portugal and Sweden.
"We've been playing good games and we showed that we can suffer and win. It's going to be tough game," added Benzema, who has scored 25 goals for France.

India 'ready for anything' from Australia: Cricket World Cup 2015

World Cup semi-final: Australia v India

Venue: Sydney Cricket Ground Date: Thursday 26 March Time: 03:30 GMT
Coverage: Live Test Match Special radio and text commentary on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra, BBC Radio 4 Long Wave & BBC Sport website, plus desktop, tablets, mobiles and app
India will not be daunted by Thursday's World Cup semi-final against Australia whether the Sydney pitch favours pace or spin, says opener Rohit Sharma.
South Africa's spinners took seven Sri Lanka wickets in last week's quarter-final at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
But Rohit insisted: "We are confident of doing well on any surface,
"We have taken 70 wickets in seven matches and bowled out the opposition every time, so we know what we need to do. We are ready for anything we get."
The SCG has not been a successful ground for India, with only one win from 13 completed one-day internationals against Australia there in 35 years.
But after failing to win a game on Australian soil in India's Test series against Australia and the ODI tri-series which followed, MS Dhoni's side have breezed through the World Cup, winning all seven games to reach the last four.
Australia skipper Michael Clarke said: "I said at the start of this tournament India would be one of the tough teams to beat, because they've played so much cricket in Australia.
"They've worked out how to take wickets and score runs, and they've shown that through this tournament. MS Dhoni deserves a lot of credit for the way he's captained, especially after being defeated in the Test series and the tri-series."
The winners face New Zealand in Sunday's final in Melbourne.

Inter Milan vs Celtic live stream info

http://ferdous24.etvcorp.a.clickbetter.com

Following an entertaining six goal thriller, Inter Milan and Celtic meet again for the second leg of their round of 32 Europa League clash. Here are some live listings & online streaming options for Inter Milan vs. Celtic.
The first leg of the round of 32 Europa league tie bewteen Inter Milan and Celtic was nothing short of entertaining for fans and neutrals alike. Six goals were split between the two sides, setting up an intriguing part two when the Scottish giants visit the Giuseppe Meazza, but it will be Ronny Delia's men who have a slight disadvantage after conceding three away goals.
In fact, should the score-line remain the same after 90 minutes, the Nerazzurri, like their Italian counterparts Fiorentina who also drew their first away leg are through. However, given the attacking potential of their opponents, that will be easier said than done. They will have to make do without some of their defensive reinforcements, including Japanese international Yuto Nagatomo, whilst Hugo Campagaro (who unfortunately scored an own-goal in the first leg) and Danilo D'Ambrosio are doubtful for the upcoming clash.
In terms of personnel, Celtic are also missing some key players, with defender Mikael Lustig and Charlie Mulgrew suffering from ankle and hamstring issues respectively. Statistically the odds do not look to be in the visitors' favour. Although Inter have not beaten the Hoops in regulation time, with three draws and one win, out of their five home games against Scottish opponents, they have won four and drawn one. Additionally, they have outscored their opponents by 11 to 1.
Celtic have not only been unable to keep a clean sheet against Italian opposition but also are winless in their last eight games, with three draws, five losses, and have scored just four goals, something that coach Ronny Delia will hope will increase if they want to book their spot in the round of 16. Yet, it will not be easy. Inter not only topped their group with 12 points but also did so sans losing a single match (three wins, three draws) and will be certainly keen on maintaining that in front of their home fans.
With this game poised on a knife's edge, it looks set to be another intriguing clash that one will certainly not want to miss.

In two separate acknowledgements at Thursday night's game, the Boston Bruins recognized the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League for recently winning the 2015 Clarkson Cup, and the U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Team for its gold medal success at the IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship in January.
The Blades have several U.S. players who helped them earn the championship, including four members of Team USA who will be taking part in the IIHF Women’s World Championship next month. They are Brianna Decker, Hilary Knight, Monique Lamoureux and Kacey Bellamy. Decker was named top forward of the playoffs and Lamoureux was the best defenseman.
The U.S. Women’s Under-18 National Team will have three local players in attendance. They are goaltender Katie Burt and forwards Sammy Davis and Becca Gilmore.  On Jan. 12, the U.S. topped Canada, 3-2, in an exciting overtime victory to claim the gold medal, becoming the first team to do so on home soil in Buffalo, New York.
